Sleep testing (aka sleep study or polysomnogram) is a painless and non-invasive procedure, useful in properly identifying and treating a number of sleep disorders. The monitoring devices are applied to the surface of your skin and record EEG (brain waves), EKG, oxygen levels, breathing rate, snoring, and movement. somniTech, Inc. uses the most advance technology, but also focus on your comfort and relaxation during testing.

Sleep testing is performed in private rooms and all accommodations are made to ensure your privacy and comfort. Sleep testing results will be reviewed by a sleep specialist and recommendations for treatment will then be made.

When we schedule a patient for sleep testing, it is our policy to make sure the patient understands the reason for the sleep study, feels comfortable to ask us questions, and has pertinent information relating to sleep testing.
